VEERABHADRA SWAMI TEMPLE KALLEPADAM

about Kallepadam;

       Pazhayannur, which place has very historical importance
in world history. Kallepadam is a small place including in Pazhayannur village.Gayathri river which divided Thrissur and Palakkad districs. The main occupation of the people of this area is cultivation. It's one of the main feature of this place.
There are long paddy fields in this area , that start from
east Gayathri river, ends at south to Kumbalakkode hill area
north toVadakkethara. The main sources of water for cultivation from Gayathri river.



               Years ago a man from kallepadam went to mookaambika for darshan, while he comeback he brings lord veerabhadra with him and idolize veerabhadra shila.
The temple was build in 1955 (malayalam 1131). The temple was made by leaf of palm tree and stick of bamboo.
                     The temple was rebuild and did naveekarana kalasham and kumbabhishekam from 2012 March 25 (1187 meenam 12) to 2012 March 28 (1187 meenam 15) in the presence of khetram thantri poonthottam mana namboothiri.



Lord Mookambika devi and Lord Ganapathi are presence with Lord Veerabhadra.We cann't see the temple of Veerabhadra at anywhere without Mookambika.


The main festival of this temple is "Vishu Vela" that celebrating on  medam 4.




There is a another temple of lord Ayyappa near to lord Veerabhadra swami temple.Now going to celebrate 25 th ayyappan vilakku on January 11, 2013
